Workout of the Day "JT" 21-15-9 HSPUs Ring Dips Push Ups Information This week weightlifting is only on Tuesday evening at 19:30.  Thursday and Saturday are cancelled. CrossFit Kids will be on with Ross but Girls WOD is cancelled this weekend. Sunday there is a mobility class with Khi at 10:00.  This class costs just £4 and you do not need to be a member to attend. For all of those that signed up to the Open please remember to pick up your free tee shirt from the office. Please note that CrossFit Glasgow will be closed in some upcoming weekends due to seminars.  Weekend 25th + 26th is the CrossFit Gymnastics seminar and the following weekend of the 2nd + 3rd of July we are closed due to the Level 1 seminar.  CFG will also be closed on the 5th of July for ITV’s Ninja Warrior auditions.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused.  We have no further dates of seminars/gym closures for 2016.

Workout of the Day Bring a friend Friday (BAFF) WOD In teams For time: 400m Run (team runs together) Then: 3x Rounds conga style: 20x wall balls 20/14lbs 15x swings 32/24 (scale to Russian swings before reducing weight) 10x burpee box jumps overs 20" Then: 4x 400m relay. The whole team must return from the run before the first athlete can begin wall ball throws. Run conga style; once the station in front has cleared the next athlete may begin.  No overtaking. On the final sprints, each team mate must complete 1 block run to finish, this is done in a relay. The 400m relay may not commence until the last athlete has finished the burpee box jumps overs. Workout of the Day In Pairs: 21-15-9 Deadlift @100/60kg OHS @60/40kg All reps of the deadlift must be completed by both members of the pair before advancing to the overhead squat; all reps of the overhead squat must be completed by both members of the pair before rotating back to the deadlifts and so on. Each member must complete all the reps of a given movement before passing to their partner. Pairs will use a single bar and help each other to load/deload the bar. Pick a pair that you would hate to lose to and race them to the finish. Hilda Clayton, 22, of Augusta, Georgia, died from injuries sustained when a mortar malfunctioned during an Afghan National Army training exercise in Qaraghahi, Afghanistan. Clayton, assigned to the 55th Signal Company and the 21st Signal Brigade in Fort Meade, Maryland, was providing Combat Camera support at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Chase Clayton.
