What a weekend! My most heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who signed up for the team and came and poured their heart and lungs out for 14.1. We saw some spectacular feats of athleticism and both heartbreaking misses and roof-raising victories; but everyone gave it their best and we simply cannot ask for more. I cannot overstate just how much we appreciate the efforts of all the volunteer judges and helpers and the patience of all of those waiting for heats – managing the largest team in Europe (189 members) carries its own unique problems and I thank you all for your support over what was a very busy few days.

The atmosphere over the weekend did not disappoint and a guest athlete from America came to tell me that it was the best box he had ever been to, and that our community was outstanding in its support for one another. Some insanely good scores have been attained by our best and brightest – these will show up on the leaderboard later today as they decide whether their “one and done” resolutions will be broken (again).

Today’s WOD is a sweaty one but pretty straightforward. We know there are a few who still need to complete 14.1 and we will do our best to accommodate you throughout the day. Outside of WOD hours is best but as a last resort we should be able to fit you in during the WODs.
